Level 1: Bachata and Merengue

Bachata:

• basic
• turns to the left and right (for leaders and followers)
• cuddle

Merengue:

• outside and inside turns (for both leaders and followers)
• cuddle
• backwrap
• pickpocket

Level 2: Slow Waltz

• Progressive/travelling step
• Box step
• Box step with underarm turn
• zigzag (aka "progressive twinkles")
• Basic twinkle (either goes down line of dance, or turns to end diagonal center)

Level 3: Bolero

• crossover and back break combination
• shadow crossover with turn and loop into shadow back break
• Open break to copa
• Open break to triple fans and ronde
• Open break to backwrap
  • Backwrap to pattycake

Level 4: Argentine Tango

Tango:

• Cruzada
• Cross-system Cruzada (hint: leaders and followers are on the same foot)
• Forward ochos
• Back ochos
  • to sandwich and pasada (ladies can play a little)
• Ocho cortado

Milonga:

• Baldosa Box
• repeat 5-6
• repeat 3-4-5-6
• rhythm variations
  • traspie (rock steps on any step except 6)
  • traspie on 2 with feet coming together

Level 5: West Coast Swing

• Triple-step styling variations:
  • triple in place (anchor)
  • cross behind (back breaks)
  • sailor step
  • ronde
• Sugar push with a tuck turn
• Basket with outside turn
• Tic Toc to ampersand and walk
• Moves by Jane and Rocco
  • Man's right hand loop, followed by woman's loop
  • Twinkle with hand variations
    • at the shoulder
    • at the elbow
    • hands by the waist
  • Basket with shoulder hold and back walk
  • Whip Walkaround (starts by changing hand behind follower's back)
  • Backwrap to basket
